GLAM HOLIDAY TABLE DETAILS
Oh hey, November! I feel like this holiday season has seriously come in hot full force out of nowhere! Can y’all believe we are almost to Christmas? With the holiday season upon us I decided to go with a glammed theme decor that can easily be used for Thanksgiving through New Years with just a few simple decorative changes for each holiday. This glam table décor is easily interchangeable. It is also perfect for boss babes looking to use their décor multiple ways and save time. This table scape is a mixture of high and low pieces to encompass an overall flawlessly styled table. I like to style my table the week before thanksgiving and leave it through New Years by following these styling tips below.
First things first, when I start with styling my table I decide what color and theme I want to do. This year it’s MODERN GLAM a trendy luxury. Simple and clean, yet elegant and captivating to you’re guests. Next up, time to add the runner and linens to the table. These are worth a splurge; you want high quality neutrals that can be used for multiple occasions and will stand the test of time. I snagged my runner and linens from West Elm. For longer tables like mine, make sure to order an extended table runner so it hangs over the edge. The table runner and linens bring texture to your table, this is important because we want a mix of textures to create a beautiful pop! I also added sheepskin rugs on the bench for another layer of texture. I place the runner in the center of the table and begin styling the rest from there. I like to add the plates after the runner so my table spacing is set. This stunning set of dishes from Ikea is a gem. I love the pale pink color and it includes everything you need, plates and bowls. Since it is a set and has everything you need it is a one stop gorgeous set that saves you time when shopping.
Plus this set is an inexpensive buy that you can keep through the holidays and store afterwards, or get rid of it if you don’t want to store dishes all year long easily without feeling like you have to keep them. Then I added three vases that match the plates down the middle with some lush greenery inside of them from Ikea as well. Now that I have the spacing for the vases, I sprinkled in two gold candleholders on each side for an added sheen effect. Once your large items are in place, in this case the vases, it’s much easier to add smaller candles to give the table dimension. I always finish with my long greenery down the center of the table last; I got this strand from Target. It is easy to arrange and taper through your centerpieces that are already in place. Finally, the last touch to create a style worthy room that is often overlooked, is to tie in design elements cascading to the floor. I have these large gorgeous glass jugs I keep in my dining room year round and replace the contents seasonally. It is an effortless design hack that leaves your room magazine ready! I put faux pine stems, from the Juniper Greenery Collection at Target, inside of mine.

Simply add chargers, some sparkle, or small holiday specific details to the table to customize it for the upcoming holiday events. All in all the entire set up ran $350, which is a great price since this set up has lots of elements that can be reused for multiple occasions!
Splurge on the textures for your table, it creates the luxurious finish. Also, you don’t want to use cheap napkins or greenery; they can take away from your lavish table set up. One area to save on your dishware and candleholders, there are so many exquisite options out there, like my set from Ikea.
