Just like fashion trends come and go, of course we have our fair share in the world of interior design! I’m often asked by friends and clients about what’s trending in home and salon design, and I thought what better way than to share what I’m seeing with all of you! From inviting warm minimalistic design, to lot’s and lot’s of marble…here are the hottest design trends of 2022.

Where modernism and happiness meet. Warm Minimalism is all about having just enough in our home without feeling crowded while incorporating warm neutrals, textures, and earthy tones. This is a style involving ribbed oak, minimalistic plastered walls, inviting fireplaces, grounded colors such as warm and deep greens and black hues and warm whites. Every accent to major detail feels intentional and there is a sense of healing that radiates throughout the space. Now more than ever, we’re spending more time at home, and this trend allows for your home to feel like a sanctuary once you walk through the doors.

After a year of indoor-only activity, we are craving to bring the outdoors in. There’s no better way to achieve this than with large windows with minimal framing to let the sun shine through. This style is perfect for anyone seeking to make their space feel open and creates the illusion of elongating each wall. In 2022, black windows and grids are here to stay here and not going anywhere!

If there is any trend I’m seeing in real time, it’s that marble is making a huge comeback! An element that is so versatile, chic and gives a sense of luxury when added to any space in your home. Marble in warm and honey tones is hot, hot, hot! Whether you’re ballin’ on a budget, or are ready to make the big investment…all I can say is, do it! From marble trim, floors and sinks to adding just a touch to drawer fronts, it elevates each space and turns any room into a major moment.
